In the midst of a picturesque nature reserve in the Leinebergland region between Alfeld and Hildesheim, the seminar and guest house "Kulturherberge Wernershöhe" is located on the highest point in the area.
It offers inexpensive overnight accommodations for groups and individual travelers as well as many opportunities to be inspired or simply to come to rest. From seminars and tent camps to concerts, exhibitions and festivals, a wide variety of events find their place here. At the "Erlebnis Akademie" cultural hostel, school classes and other groups can book camps and theater, nature and experiential education programs or seminars on philosophy and Tai Chi. Since 1997, the Kulturherberge has been run by the non-profit association Kulturherberge e.V.. The aim is to provide a place where everyone has the opportunity to develop, leave their mark and be impressed by the special focus on ecology, social issues, culture and crafts.
A place that lives through people who come as strangers and often leave as friends.
